White flex pipe is used with pipe fittings that have a socket fitment for the flex to be glued into & Clear vinyl pipe uses fittings that are glued inside, normally with a barb. All sizes of white Flexi pipes used on hot tubs and spas are 'Schedule40' plumbing sizes and the names given for these sizes of pipes & fittings are not what they actually measure. To help here is a quick metric guide of outside diameters to work out which pipe you have and need to replace: 1/2" = 21.34 mm, 3/4" = 26.67 mm, 1" = 33.40 mm, 1.5" = 48.26 mm, 2" = 60.33 mm The clear Vinyl pipe is measured internally and the internal diameters given are the actual measurement.
