Welcome to our Pump Cables & Plugs section. 

We stock two different types of pump cables available either the mini J&J plastic style plug with 3 or 4 pins on the end or the newer amp style plug which has a clear plastic plug with a group of 4 individual D-shaped pins.

Here is a quick guide to the pump cable plugs:

The mini J&J three-pin plug is for a single-speed pump and the four-pinned version is for a dual-speed pump. All amp plugs that are designed for pumps will generally have four D-shaped pins, the single speed pump cable will only have three cores so one of the plastic prongs will be missing the wire connection inside the plug. The dual-speed pump cable will come with four cores so then the amp plug will have all four-wire connections.
